Pincushion Mountain offers a spectacular view of Artist’s Point
Today’s pictures are looking both from and toward Pincushion Mountain. The autumn leaves of Grand Marais are changing quickly now. Once you get up off the lake, the leaves are at peak and in some places, almost over the peak. This is the weekend for leaf peeping because if we get any hard rain and wind, the trees are going to lose their color quickly. I hope everyone has enjoyed these pictures.
We will do this experiment again with a different subject.

It doesn’t matter what time of year it is, Gichigami always takes my breath away.

a rich variety of trees that thrive in the big lake’s weather.
