Each spring on the North Shore, steelhead trout run up the rivers to spawn. A few weeks later, they return to Lake Superior, where they remain until the following year.

With such a short window to pursue these silver bullets, it’s no wonder why many steelhead addicts make annual trips to this area. They can’t wait for the chance to feel the powerful runs and crazy jumps of these magnificent fish.
