The sun was shining, we had a good chop on the water, and we were full from our lunch at Trail Center. We headed out on Hungry Jack Lake. We started the day with some smallmouth bass fishing, which went well–nothing big but lots off action. As the 6 o’clock time came around, we started fishing for walleye. This big girl hit about 8, so I’m going to brag her up: 29 inches, 10.25 pounds.

So if you’re ever wondering what guides do to relax on their day off, we to like to fish.
